In an exclusive interview to India Today TV, Mehul Choksi’s lawyer Vijay Aggarwal spoke on a range of issues, including the audio clip released by the fugitive businessman, in which he alleged that he was abducted by Indian agencies. Mehul Choksi had recently released an audio clip in which he claimed that the alleged abduction has “left lasting marks on his soul”.
Responding to this Mehul Choksi’s lawyer said, “Of course, he (Mehul Choksi) is the victim. The way he was kidnapped and all other crimes. Now, there is overwhelming evidence. A lot of skeletons have come out from the cell and That’s why the abuse petition was filed in Dominica.”
The Dominican High Court on Monday granted bail to Mehul Choksi and allowed him to return to Antigua. The court granted bail on the grounds of Mehul Choksi’s health condition, which includes neurological disorders, heart condition and diabetes.
A day after returning to Antigua from Dominica, Mehul Choksi on Thursday released an explosive audio tape accusing Indian agencies of “brazen kidnapping”.
