In Ekushi election, Mamta Banerjee contested from Nandigram as a candidate. At that time Meenakshi was the state president of the youth organization. The 19th State Conference of DYFI has concluded in Raiganj. At the same time, Meenakshi Mukherjee of West Burdwan has been given the responsibility of the state secretary.

Dhrubjyoti Saha of Murshidabad has been brought as the state president of the youth organization. The youth mouthpiece is headed by Kaltan Dasgupta. Apoorva has become the certified treasurer.
