Mansukh Mandaviya slams Rahul Gandhi for besieging government over lack of Kovid vaccines

New Delhi: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Sunday hit out at Rahul Gandhi for his displeasure against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government over the lack of Covid-19 vaccines, saying the Congress leader lacks maturity and in the name of vaccination. Indulging in petty politics.

Responding to Gandhi’s tweet in which he questioned when the nation would be able to meet its immunization target, Mandaviya said that in July, more than 130 million vaccines have been administered in India.

“More than 13 crore vaccines have been administered in India in the month of July. It is going to accelerate this month. We are proud of our healthcare workers for this achievement. You too should be proud of him and the country now,” he tweeted in Hindi.

Stepping up his attack on the Congress leader, Mandaviya said Gandhi did not appreciate scientists nor urged the public to get the vaccine despite being one of the first to take the Covid vaccine in July.

“I heard you are one of the 130 million people who were vaccinated in July, but you didn’t say a word to our scientists, didn’t appeal to the public for vaccination. That means you get vaccinated. Doing petty politics in the name of. Not really a vaccine, you lack maturity,” he posted on the micro-blogging platform.
