Man dies after falling from roof in monkey attack Noida News – Times of India

Ghaziabad: A 52-year-old man died after falling from the road roof in her house Modinagar area of Ghaziabad. The incident happened on Tuesday evening when the deceased was walking on the terrace of his house with his wife when the monkeys attacked him.
Ashok Chaudhary, working in a private company, slipped and fell on the ground while trying to drive away the monkeys. He was admitted to the hospital but died during treatment on Wednesday.
Sunil Kumar Singh, circle officer of Modinagar said that the family has not given any complaint.
Residents said there has been an increase in the number of monkeys in the area over the years and the civic body has also done nothing to check the menace.
Residents allege that as before, no operation is being conducted to catch the monkeys.
A day earlier, a four-year-old girl fell from the roof of her house. Kotwali area after being attacked by a group of monkeys.
The incident happened when Amit Kumar’s daughter Sanjana was playing on the terrace. He tried to save her but by then the child had slipped. He was taken to the hospital but doctors declared him brought dead.
Rajneesh Gujjar, a resident of the area said that two-three people are injured daily by the monkeys. “We have written to the civic body on several occasions, but nothing has come of it. GMC officials never visit the area and we live in constant fear,” he said.
SHO of Kotwali police station Amit Kumar said that the parents of the minor did not complain and also refused the autopsy.
