Man arrested for killing wife in Tamil Nadu Coimbatore News – Times of India

Tiruppur: The city police on Thursday arrested a 31-year-old man for allegedly killing his 25-year-old wife.
The arrested person has been identified as K KumarHe hails from Kasidharam village in Tenkasi district. Kumar, a labourer, was staying with his wife Dhanalakshmi and two sons aged nine and seven in a rented accommodation at JJ Nagar on Vanjipalayam Road here.
A police officer said that Dhanalakshmi, who worked in a banyan company, was in a relationship with a man from Tenkasi. “She often went there to meet him and also kept in touch over phone. On Thursday, around 2.30 pm, the couple got into a verbal spat over the affair. Kumar got angry and attacked Dhanalakshmi with a sickle. He injured five and died on the spot.”
15 Velampalayam police sent the body to Tiruppur Government Medical College and Hospital for postmortem and registered a case against Kumar under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code. Kumar has been sent to judicial custody.
