Pune: Maharashtra teacher eligibility test Will be held on Sunday.
While Paper 1 will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1 pm, Paper 2 will be conducted from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on October 30, but due to the by-election in Deglur-Biloli assembly constituency, the exam was rescheduled to November 21. The hall tickets were made available online from October 26 and can be downloaded till Sunday.
A total of 2,54,428 candidates have registered for Paper 1, while 2,14,250 candidates have registered for Paper 2 of TET, which will be conducted at 1,443 centers across the state. Candidates qualifying in Paper 1 will be eligible to teach classes I to V while those qualifying in Paper 2 will be eligible to apply for employment as a teacher in classes VI to VIII.
Dattatreya Jagtap, President, Maharashtra The State Council of Examinations said, “The exam will be conducted following all the COVID-19 safety precautions. It is mandatory for students to wear masks at all times. If any student is found with high temperature during the temperature check which will be conducted before allowing the candidates inside the examination hall, he/she will be made to sit separately.
