Maharashtra government is making fun of education system: BJP BJP Mumbai News – Times of India

Mumbai: BJP hit on wednesday Maharashtra The government on several issues related to students, such as “excessive” fees charged by private schools amid the Covid-19 pandemic and “confusion” in curriculum, and said the Uddhav Thackeray-led government was making fun of the education system.
Talking to reporters, BJP State Chief spokesperson Keshav Upadhyay said Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) The government should resolve fee-related issues at the earliest to ensure that schools are in line.
He also claimed that the government has to work out a strategy for reopening schools after the Kovid-19 pandemic.
“The Bombay High Court On many occasions, questions have been raised on the education policy of the state government. However, the government is making fun of the education system. It has always turned a blind eye to these scathing remarks that put the future prospects of the students at stake,” he said. Upadhyay also pointed out that recently the High Court had asked the state government whether it was making fun of the education system.
But instead of reforming the education policy, the government seems to be ignoring it. The government is yet to formulate a strategy for reopening schools post-pandemic,” he said.
“Excessive fees are charged by private schools, confusion in syllabus, evaluation pattern of students writing their exams for class 10 and 12, among other issues. So the question arises whether the Chief Minister of the state is really concerned and serious about the education in the state.
He also claimed that with no clear instructions, the managements of various schools are charging exorbitant fees and exploiting the parents. He said that since the government has failed to pay the fees for the students from the economically weaker sections, some educational institutions have refused admission to such students despite the Right to Education being enforced.
“The lax attitude of the government is having a negative impact on the students. It is not yet clear on what basis the Class 12 examinations are to be evaluated. CBSE Already prepared its evaluation pattern, but our state education department is not ready with any such method. Students have to suffer because of inefficient government rules,” the BJP leader said.
