Ludhiana: The District Magistrate of Ludhiana on Saturday ordered that shops selling essential and non-essential items in the district can open from 5 am to 7.30 pm on Sundays.
In the order issued by the District Magistrate, it has been said that the risk COVID-19 Received on 25th June in Ludhiana.
The order further states that the remaining orders made in the district through the letter dated June 25 will continue as before. It said that these orders will come into force with immediate effect.
As the District Magistrate ordered the lifting of the lockdown on Sunday, especially the traders are happy with this move of the government.
Two Kovid deaths in Ludhiana, 37 new cases were reported
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma Told on Saturday that under the “Mission Fateh” of the Punjab Government, the number of patients recovering from Kovid-19 in the district is increasing day by day. He said that at present there are 429 active patients in the district.
He said that sincere efforts are being made to keep people safe from COVID-19. He said that a total of 37 patients (32 from district Ludhiana and 5 new patients from other states/districts) have tested positive in the last 24 hours.
