Professional networking platform LinkedIn has introduced a new feature – “Collaborative Articles”, which will use “AI-powered conversation starters” to initiate discussions among “experts” on the platform.

As The Verge reports, the company will match articles with relevant members based on their skill graph, inviting them to provide references, additional information and advice for articles.

Furthermore, the company believes the system will make it easier for people to contribute their viewpoints because “starting a conversation is harder than joining one”.

People can respond to experts’ contributions with “insightful” feedback.

“The bodies of articles are powered by AI, based on signals created and continuously refined by the company’s editorial team,” LinkedIn spokeswoman Suzie Owens was quoted as saying.

Furthermore, the report states that the professional networking platform has chosen a “select group of experts” to contribute articles, adding that doing so can help enhance its reputation and grow its followers. .

Articles also include a note in which readers can be requested to contribute by liking or reacting to the article.

Last month, LinkedIn announced a “Focused Inbox” feature for a better messaging experience on the platform.

The company said the improved LinkedIn messaging experience will make it easier for members around the world to find and respond to the messages that matter most.
