New Delhi: The makers of pan-India film ‘Liger’ unveiled the poster of the first song ‘Akdi Pakdi’ from their upcoming romantic-action film. Taking to Instagram, Dharma Productions shared the poster, in which they captioned, “50 days for release Let’s celebrate with some mass music! AKDI PAKDI. First song – July 11th. Promo on July 8th.” In the poster, the lead pair of the film can be seen in a cheerful mood, with Vijay Deverakonda in a rustic jacket hugging his co-star Ananya Panday and helping her to blow the whistle.
‘Liger’ marks Vijay’s debut in Hindi cinema and the ‘Khaali Peeli’ actor’s first multilingual film. Soon after the makers unveiled the poster of ‘Akdi Pakdi’, fans flooded the comments section with heart and fire emoticons as one can see the excitement among them for the first song of the Puri Jagannath directorial.
Recently the makers also unveiled a nude poster of lead actor Vijay in his action avatar with a bouquet of red roses. The poster went viral on social media and fans lauded the ‘Arjun Reddy’ actor for his transformation.
Produced by Karan Johar, Ligar is all set to hit the theaters on August 26, 2022, after several delays due to COVID-19 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
Meanwhile, ‘World Famous Lovers’ will also be seen collaborating with Puri Jagannadh in ‘JGM’, which is slated to release on August 2023. Apart from this he also has ‘Kushi’ opposite actor Samantha Prabhu, which is gearing up for a worldwide release on December 23, 2022.
Ananya on the other hand will be seen in ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gaurav, which is slated to release in 2023.
