The device gets a punch-hole cutout at the front and narrow bezels. The dual SIM smartphone is also equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Lava Agni 5G is powered by a 2.4GHz MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset paired with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU and 8GB of RAM. The smartphone has 128GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. Lava Agni 5G sports a 6.78-inch Full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate and 1080×2460 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.

The Lava Agni 5G packs a quad-rear camera setup with 64MP primary lens with f/1.9 aperture, 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. Lava Agni 5G will compete with Realme 8 5G which is selling for Rs 15,499. The 5G-enabled smartphone from Realme is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and sports a Full HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone sports a 48MP main camera and packs a 5000mAh battery with fast charging support.
