Pakistan’s Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar on Twitter. She called Lata didi the ‘Queen without a crown’ and wrote, “A legend is no more, #LataMangeshkar was a melodious queen who ruled the music world for decades, she was the uncrowned queen of music, her voice to the people Will continue to rule the hearts of everyone. All the time to come.”

Pakistani singer Ali Zafar had his own emotional and melodious way to remember Lata Mangeshkar by dedicating a song to her. Pakistan cricketers including Shoaib Malik and Waqar Younis also expressed grief over the demise of Lata Mangeshkar.
It is no surprise that Pakistan has also been stunned by the demise of Lata Mangeshkar. It should be noted that the singer also enjoyed fans on both sides of the border as she began her career before Indian independence when India and Pakistan were not separate.
Former Pakistan President Zia-ul-Haq also once praised Lata Mangeshkar and said, “I myself am fond of Lata Mangeshkar but if you want to send her to Pakistan to sing, I will say no now because it is not accompaniment.” With the current Pakistani sentiment.” Hence, it goes without hesitation that Lata will be remembered as the messenger of peace between the two countries.

Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last on Sunday morning at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, where she was admitted for the last 28 days. Dr Pratat Samdani, the veteran singer’s doctor, released a statement revealing that Lata didi passed away due to multiple organ failure. He tweeted, ‘It is being informed with great sadness that Lata Mangeshkar is passing away at 8:12 am. He has died of multi-organ failure after being hospitalized for more than 28 days for COVID19,” he said.
