Lata Mangeshkar to get a unique tribute in ‘Naam Reh Jaayega’ show

New Delhi: The show ‘Naam Reh Jayega’ is a perfect amalgamation of nostalgia tales and every episode has a special story that is narrated by well-known singers of the industry.

This week is the grand finale episode of Naam Reh Jayega. The melodious 8 week of the musical journey is coming to its end. And to commemorate this beautiful journey of the show, Star Plus is setting up a one of its kind art installation in Mumbai today.

This rare and unique installation will be done by popular artist Gopal Namjoshi and his partner Leena Namjoshi. Her technique of using instruments to create this art of the most versatile and popular singer Lata Mangeshkar is unconventional and totally unique. The installation also includes the use of instruments such as the violin, tabla, flute, dholak, trumpet, dhafli, tanpura and damru and others that characterize Namjoshi’s signature style.

Talking about the same, Leena Namjoshi says, “Talking about the same, Leena Namjoshi, co-producer of artist Gopal Namjoshi says, “The whole process of installation was challenging yet worth it. It is an honor for us to pay this tribute to the great singer. We have used many layers of musical instruments to make his memory eternal. There seems to be some deep connection with his voice in our lives, the different emotions we are experiencing, so our effort to pay tribute to him goes deeper. The art form reflects the ethos of music and how it was an inseparable part of Lataji’s life. ,

In this 8 episodes show ‘Naam Reh Jaayega’, 18 of the biggest Indian singers including Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh, Shankar Mahadevan, Nitin Mukesh, Neeti Mohan, Alka Yagnik, Sadhana Sargam, Udit Narayan, Shaan, Kumar Sanu, Amit Kumar, Jatin Pandit, Javed Ali, Aishwarya Majumdar, Sneha Pant, Pyarelal Ji, Palak Muchhal and Anwesha join hands to pay tribute to the legendary Lata Mangeshkar. The show is conceived and directed by Gajendra Singh, Saibaba Studios.
