Sameer Chougule and Vishakha Subhedar, of Marathi comedy reality show Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra fame, recently received appreciation from none other than Lata Mangeshkar. Sameer and Vishakha receive a letter from Lata Mangeshkar along with a gift praising both of them for their performances in the show.
Overwhelmed by Lata ji’s praise, Sameer and Vishakha did not stop but took to their respective social media accounts to express their gratitude along with their friends and fans. Sharing pictures of the letter, both Sameer and Vishakha wrote a long note in their respective Instagram posts.
Lata Mangeshkar has sent special gifts to actors Sameer Chougule and Vishakha Subhedar. Apart from this, the legendary playback singer also wrote a congratulatory message in her own handwriting on the cover of both the gifts.
Sameer and Vishakha share their feelings by writing long notes. Sameer said that he got the biggest trophy of his life after getting compliments and best wishes from Lata Mangkeshwar.

Posting on Instagram, Sameer wrote, “Nature is so great! It used to create tears to give way to emotions when no one had words. Today Saraswati, the mother of music and voice, Reverend Lata Mangeshkar didi has graced my life.” The biggest trophy and gift of all is sent with great love.
“And that trophy is a compliment and a blessing in Lata didi’s handwriting. Lata didi always watches the comedy fair of Maharashtra and laughs a lot… It’s a matter of great pride and happiness,” Sameer thanked the comedy team.
Meanwhile, Visakha wrote, “What to say… Lost words and eyes rolled… A parcel wrapped in shiny paper came home. A card was placed on it. The card read ‘Lata Mangeshkar’. She was always laughing. Jatra watches, and because she loves our work, she sends a gift of blessings.”
