Dhar, who had previously served as the chief executive officer of the league, was made an officer on special duty after the CoA took over the reins of the federation.

Referring to the recent observations by persons directly connected with Indian football at this time, the CoA said, “The Committee has observed that certain persons have made certain statements regarding the functioning of the AIFF and its office bearers.

“The said statement should reflect the personal views of those individuals as the Committee of Administrators has not authorized anyone to make any statement on its behalf.”

Among other things, the CoA is set to brief the FIFA delegation, which is touring the country and starting its meeting with various stakeholders from Wednesday, on the task assigned to them by the apex court within the stipulated time. About the desire to fulfill.

Expressing its urgency to complete the assigned work at the earliest, the CoA said, “The Committee would like to complete the work assigned to it by the Hon’ble Court at the earliest and, in the process of doing so, prepare the draft Constitution. The AIFF which can be prepared by the Committee of Administrators will be placed before the Hon’ble Supreme Court.

“The above suggestions will be suitably considered by the Hon’ble Supreme Court on 15th July as directed by the Hon’ble Court.”

It further said, “The Committee of Administrators shall do the necessary work to conduct the elections as per the new Constitution as suggested by the Hon’ble Supreme Court at the earliest and thereafter, the Constitution shall be placed before the General Assembly of the AIFF for approval.”

“The committee will also work for the benefit of Indian football with the help and cooperation of all stakeholders including Football Sports Development Limited, State Associations, Sports Authority of India, FIFA, AFC etc.”
