Kss Chess Championship From Aug 30 | Kanpur News – Times of India

Kanpur: Kanpur Sahodaya School (KSS) chess championship for senior boys will be held at KDMA School Barra from August 30 to September 1.
According to Priyanka Sehgal, principal of the host school, as many as 36 CBSE schools have sent their entries and around 180 students from class IX-XII are expected to take part in the six-round championship.
As per programme, two rounds will be played on the opening day and 3 rounds on the second day. The sixth and the last round will be played on September 1.
Top three schools will be felicitated after the final round by medals, trophy and certificates. Similarly, 5 board winners would also be honoured. Kanpur Chess Association has been asked to conduct the event smoothly.
