The prized trophy and logo were unveiled in a grand ceremony by the Honorary President of KSCA, Roger Binny and other dignitaries.

Living up to its commitment to provide the right platform for young and aspiring cricketers to shine, the state of Karnataka Cricket Association (KSCA) announced the launch of Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20, a marquee Twenty20 cricket tournament organized in memory of HRH Late Srikantadutt Narasimharaja Wadiyar, former President of KSCA and Maharaja of Mysore. The tournament will be held from August 7 to August 26, 2022.

Unveiling the coveted trophy and logo was the Honorable Roger Binny in a star-studded ceremony today. President KSCA, Santosh Menon, Hon. Secretary and Vinay Mrityunjay, Hon. Treasurer of KSCA.

Reminiscent of the Bradman Cup, which became the country’s first Twenty20 tournament held in 2005, Roger Binny, Hon. The KSCA President said, “KSCA set out in 2005 to get the ball rolling for an entirely new format of the game. India First taste of T20 match through Bradman Cup. After this, the Karnataka Premier League was launched in 2009 and we have seen eight successful editions of this entertaining league, in which many young stars have emerged. With a view to continue to provide our cricketers with the right platform to perform and to be ready for the next big leap in their cricketing career, we have decided to introduce the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20.”
