Several IP phones, mobile phones, computer hard disks, data sheets ranging from fiber optics to Ethernet converters and a large number of customer databases were seized from the accused.

Kolkata: Police arrested eight persons in the early hours of Tuesday for operating two fake call centers at a Sector V commercial building in Salt Lake, Kolkata.
A Bidhannagar City Police official said they had received specific information about two call centers in the same building allegedly duping foreigners posing as representatives of major software providers and asking for any issues related to their computers. were contacting or calling them to resolve that they have won the lottery online.
Cybercrime police officers first raided the call center located at suite number 902 of Primark Tower located in DN block of Salt Lake Sector 5.
“Three officers were arrested from their office and several computer sets and IP receivers as well as several data sheets of US based customers were seized,” an official said.
After this the police raided another office in suit number one. 909 in the same building from where five other persons were arrested.
