Poha Recipe: If one has traveled to some parts of central India then it is a trend to eat poha for breakfast. Poha is one of the best options for breakfast in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. However, this does not limit the popularity of poha in India. Poha tastes good when cooked right but people complain that their poha becomes dry.

That’s why many people prefer to eat poha prepared from the market instead of making poha at home. Today we will tell you how to make soft and completely nutritious poha at home in an easy way.

How to make Soft and Fluffy Poha

1- Put the poha in a large steel sieve and wash it thoroughly under the tap.
2- Keep the sieve aside so that the excess water drains out.
3- Now put oil in a pan and turn on the gas.
4- When the oil is hot, fry the peanuts and take them out.
5- Now add mustard seeds to the oil. Then add curry leaves, green chilies, onions and finely chopped potatoes to it.
6- When the potatoes are cooked well, then add some salt and turmeric to it.
7- Now add chopped tomatoes and fry. If you want to eat spicy poha, then add some red chili powder.
8- Now puff up the poha kept in the sieve with light hands.
9- Now put poha in oil in a pan and mix it well. If the poha is hard and dry, sprinkle some water and cover with a lid. Turn the gas off.
10- Now serve by adding chopped coriander leaves, a little lemon and a little crunchy sev.
