Kiran Rao will sit on the director’s chair after Dhobi Ghat, ex-husband Aamir Khan will produce the film

The 2010 release Dhobi Ghat has shown us the phenomenal talent of director Kiran Rao and since then the audiences have been waiting for him to come back. Be it choice, it seems that he is adamant about his choice of a good script. But now it seems that Rao has chosen one.

After a long time, the audience will soon face another surprise directed by Kiran Rao. A comedy-drama backed by Aamir Khan Productions is in the works, the shooting of which will begin on January 8 in different parts of Maharashtra.

It is the desire of an artist to manifest his experimental desire to present something different with every upcoming project. It was shared by a leading daily “Kiran’s next is a massive entertainer which will be backed by Aamir”. Written by Biplab Goswami with a screenplay by Sneha Desai, the film focuses on three characters. “Rao has confirmed the lead for Jamtara: Sabka Number Aayega fame Sparsh Srivastava, who has been a part of many serials including Balika Vadhu. Rao’s search for another two leads stopped at Pratibha Ranta, who was seen in Zee TV’s Qurban Hua, and Nitanshi Goel, who was previously seen in Peshwa Bajirao and Karmaphal Data Shani.
