Music composer Vishal Dadlani wrote an emotional eulogy after the funeral of his late father Moti Dadlani on Saturday. Vishal’s father passed away on January 8, 2022. The musician could not meet him in his last moments as he was battling COVID-19. On Saturday, Vishal took to his Instagram handle and wrote a message remembering his beloved father.

“My mom, sister, niece and I cremated our father today. He now walks with me forever, as a pain in my chest. Not a day will pass without me saying “Love you, dad” And hearing his voice replied “Love you, Betu.” I will never be with him again, but I will never be without him,’ he wrote.

Furthermore, he shared his desire to prove “his worthy”. He wrote, “Just hope I can prove to be worthy of him. He was indeed the sweetest, kindest, humblest, most hardworking and most loving person ever. (Mr. Moti Dadlani, 12 May 1942 – 8 January 2022.) ”

Last week, Vishal announced the news of his father’s death in a post. He wrote: “Mr. Moti Dadlani (12 May 1943 -8 January 2022). Last night, lost my best friend, the best and kindest man on earth. I am not asking to be a better father, or a better person. Could. My teacher for life. All that is good in me is just a mild reflection of him. He was in ICU for last 3/4 days but I couldn’t go since yesterday as I tested positive for covid I can’t even go hold my mom in her toughest of times. It’s really not fair. Thankfully, my sister is handling everything with more force than I can muster. I don’t know why How to live in a world without him. I am completely lost.”

A few days before the death of Vishal’s father, he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
