“The protest filed by Kerala Blasters has been rescinded,” a source in the know of the matter told PTI.

The AIFF is expected to issue the full order of its disciplinary committee, which met on Monday.

The Blues will play in the first match of the two-legged semi-final against League Shield winners Mumbai City FC in Mumbai on Tuesday. The second match will be played in Bengaluru on 12 March.

After a goalless stalemate during regulation time at the Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru FC took the lead in the 97th minute when Tabeez Chhetri converted a free-kick.

But the India captain’s strike led to a full play as the team led by Adrian Luna protested the referee’s decision to declare it a valid goal, claiming that he had not blown the whistle before Chhetri took the kick and The players were not ready.

This was followed by an unprecedented walk-out, a first in the ISL where Serbian coach Ivan Vukomanovic called back his players. Luna was seen taking off her captain’s arm-band and her comrades followed their captain.

Kerala Blasters lost the match.
