Ken Block, Pro Rally driver and Hoonigan founder dies in snowmobile accident

Pro rally car driver, YouTuber, and founder of Hoonigan Ken Block, who went viral on the internet because of his driving skills, has died at the age of 55 in a snowmobile accident, according to a statement on Instagram by the Hoonigan Racing Team. Went. The unfortunate accident reportedly happened in Utah’s Wasatch County when Block was riding down a steep slope and the snowmobile landed on top of him, causing the accident. After the incident, the block was declared due to serious injuries in the accident. It is to be noted that the rally racer was riding in a group but was alone at the time of the accident.

“It is with our deepest regret that we can confirm that Ken Block passed away in a snowmobile accident today,” Hunigan shared the information via his official Instagram handle. Block began his rally career in 2005 and won the Rally America Championship’s Rookie of the Year award. He competed in the World Rally Championship and won several medals for rallycross at the X Games. The American made the Gymkhana film series, in which he drives on dangerous roads and obstacles as well as on the athletic apparel firm DC Shoes. On YouTube, the series has been viewed millions of times.
