KBC 13: Contestants fail to answer this question of Rs 1 crore on history

Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 contestant Pranshu Tripathi’s dream of winning Rs 1 crore did not come true. Umaria’s maths teacher Himani would have been the second millionaire of the season after Bundela. The Agra teacher became the first visually impaired contestant to win Rs 1 crore. The host watched the much-awaited episode on Thursday Amitabh Bachchan Presenting an important question to Prashu. Earlier in a promo video shared online, he had said that an amount of Rs 1 crore means a lot to him. He told the megastar that he wanted to save the winning amount for his marriage.

Pranshu answered the question of Rs 1 crore, however, was not sure about the correct answer. After all the lifelines were exhausted, he felt that he had no choice but to quit his job. Earlier Pranshu answered 14 questions correctly and managed to earn Rs 50 lakh. The question that could have earned the contestant Rs 1 crore was “The royal ship, Ganj-i-Sawai, which was plundered by the British pirate Henry Avery, was the property of which Indian ruler?” Tipu Sultan, Hyder Ali, Aurangzeb and Baji Rao II were the four options that were offered to Pranshu. The correct answer was Aurangzeb.
