Kartik Aaryan on Thursday said that he has completed shooting for his upcoming film Freddy. Billed as a romantic thriller, the film is directed by Veere Di Wedding fame Shashanka Ghosh. The 30-year-old actor said on Instagram that Freddie’s character will always be “like a shadow” with him. “It’s a wrap!! A character who will always be with me like a shadow. #Freddy will see you in cinemas (sic),” Kartik wrote alongside a series of pictures and videos from the film’s wrap-up party.

Freddy’s, starring Alaya F, began shooting in August. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Jai Shevkarmani’s banner Northern Lights Films. Apart from Freddy, Karthik’s upcoming films include Dhamaka, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Captain India.
Meanwhile, Kartik also unveiled the first look and motion poster of his upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film will release on March 25, 2022. The actor uploaded it on his Instagram page, where he is seen resembling Akshay Kumar’s getup in the 2007 installment of the film. Kartik is seen in the get-up of a sadhu, who is sitting on top of a building and has a deep voice and crows around him.

The actor captioned the motion poster, “25 March 2022, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, in a theater near you.” Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is directed by Anees Bazmee and stars Kiara Advani and Tabu. Kartik’s next release is the Netflix film Dhamaka, a remake of the Korean thriller The Terror Live. It is directed by Ram Madhvani.
