According to a report in India.com, Satyaprem Ki Katha has been made on a budget of Rs 50-60 crore and an additional Rs 5 crore will be spent on its promotion. Entertainment portal claims that Kartik Aryan is charging a whopping amount of Rs 25 crores. Reportedly, he hiked his fee after the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 last year.
On the other hand, Kiara Advani charged Rs 4 crore for Satyaprem’s Katha. Gajraj Rao, who will be seen playing the role of Karthik’s father, has reportedly charged Rs 1 crore. Supriya Pathak (Karthik Aryan’s mother in the film) is reportedly getting Rs 75 lakh for her role. However, News18 could not verify the authenticity of the Shosha report.

Last month, Kartik Aaryan wrapped up the shooting of the film and penned an emotional note on social media. He mentioned that the film has been a ‘heart-wrenching and roller-coaster ride of emotions’. Later, the film’s director Sameer Vidwans also shared Kartik’s tweet and expressed his happiness on working with the young star. “Karthik you are a director’s delight! Your charm, energy, dedication and hardworking nature made this journey not only beautiful but also powerful!! I enjoyed every bit of it! What a great opportunity to achieve what we all had envisioned.” Thank you for being there by my side!!” She wrote.
