MANGALURU: Kukke Sree Subrahmanya Temple in Dakshina Kannada district will open for devotees only, following the government’s unlock guidelines visit and Mangalarati Sev.

While Mangalarati will be performed once in 15 minutes, prasad including teerth, sandal paste, bhojan prasad (food), panchkajjay and laddus will not be given to the devotees. Similarly, they will not be allowed to stay in the guest house of the temple.
Wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing, and using thermal scanning sanitizer He said it would be mandatory for all the devotees before entering the temple.
“The devotees will not be allowed to enter the temple if they have fever, cough and cold,” he said.
Temple executive officer Ningaiah said that devotees would be allowed entry from Rajagopura only.
All other entrances will remain closed and there will be a separate exit for the devotees to come out.
Devotees should follow the signs inside the temple premises to maintain social distancing. He said that all such arrangements would be made inside the Adi Subrahmanya temple also.
