Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera did the home entry, the first kitchen rituals after marriage

Actress Karishma Tanna tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Varun Bangera on February 5 in a private ceremony. The wedding took place in the presence of his close friends and family members. The newlyweds are now busy with the post-wedding rituals. Karisma and Varun’s Griha Pravesh ceremony took place on Monday, where the couple was seen dressed in traditional clothes and making a lot of love.

In the photos and videos of the ritual, Varun is seen in a yellow kurta-pyjama while Karisma is seen in a pink sari with heavy necklace and choker. Her mehendi-adorned hands were on full display as she posed as a newlywed bride.

A video shows the couple at the griha pravesh ceremony where Varun’s mother performs an aarti. Karishma then kicks the urn full of rice with her right foot and then steps onto the plate of alta and enters the house.

In a picture from the ceremony, Karisma can be seen sharing a tender moment with her mother-in-law, who blesses her and gives her a gift.

Karisma also gave a glimpse of her first ‘kitchen’ ceremony on Instagram. She posted a video of her preparing the sweets at her home. We can see Varun feeding him the Indian sweets cooked by him. “The first kitchen. Let something sweet happen,” said Karisma.

Karishma Tanna and Varun Bangera got engaged secretly in November last year. Their wedding over the weekend was attended by Ekta Kapoor, Ridhima Pandit, Anita Hassanandani, Harleen Sethi and Terence Lewis. The actress has been sharing pictures and videos of her haldi, mehendi and wedding ceremony on Instagram.
