Veteran actor Kamal Haasan being helicoptered to his Indian 2 sets. The video of his entry from the helicopter is going viral on social media.
Superstar Kamal Haasan is all set to start shooting for his much-awaited action drama Indian 2 after the conclusion of Bigg Boss Tamil season 6. Filmmaker Shankar is now busy shooting for the film at various locations in Tirupati and Gandikota in Andhra Pradesh. A video from the sets of Indian 2 is now going viral on social media, in which Kamal Haasan is seen arriving at the shooting location by helicopter.
In the viral video, Haasan along with his stylist Amrita Ram boarded a helicopter to the shooting location with director Shankar.
It was earlier reported that the South actor used a chopper to reach the location while shooting for Vikram.
A fan account recently shared the video on Twitter. “#Indian2 – #KamalHaasan arriving at the shooting spot in a special helicopter, Tirupati to Gandikota daily (sic),” read the caption. In the video, police personnel and some locals are seen gheraoing the actor as he alights from the chopper and leaves for the sets in a car.
Later, trade analyst Ramesh Bala shared two photographs in which Kamal Haasan is seen standing in front of a chopper. Ramesh Bala tweeted, “#Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan from #Indian2 shooting spot in Andhra Pradesh. Uses helicopter for daily commuting.”
The shooting of Indian 2 has been postponed several times due to various reasons. Now Kamal Haasan and Shankar want to speed up the shooting. The film is expected to hit the theaters later this year.
Indian 2 is the sequel to the 1995 blockbuster hit Indian. The upcoming action film is set in the pre-independence era. Indian 2 star cast includes Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Guru Somasundaram and Bobby Simha. While Ravi Varman is in charge of cinematography, Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer.
After wrapping up Indian 2, Kamal Haasan is likely to work on his next project with filmmaker H Vinoth. He will soon start working on the film KH 234 with Mani Ratnam. The film marks the collaboration of Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan after almost 35 years. The film is expected to release in theaters in 2024.
