JPMorgan Chase & Co JPM.N Chief Executive Jamie Dimon said in a statement Friday that he had never met or communicated with late sex offender and former bank client Jeffrey Epstein, the bank said.
Dimon was ordered by a federal judge to set aside two days to testify about what he knew about the bank’s relationship with Epstein.
The largest US bank has faced lawsuits seeking damages from women who claim Epstein sexually assaulted them, and by the US Virgin Islands, where the late financier was home.
