Johnny Depp is said to have “moved on” from a defamation suit against ex-wife Amber Heard as he took to the stage on Sunday to perform with Jeff Beck at the Helsinki Blues Festival in Finland. Depp was awarded more than $10 million in damages after a controversial six-week libel trial.

“Testing was necessary, but he’s happy it’s over,” a source told People. “Although he is relieved by the jury’s decision, he is not enthusiastic about it.” The source added, “He is not even talking about the trial yet. He filed the suit because he thought it necessary. Although he has moved on. He is now able to get back to doing what he loves to do. . He enjoys performing and has summer engagements ahead. He is also eager to continue working. He just wants his career back. He loves filming.”

Meanwhile, Amber Heard, whose lawyers said she was not able to pay court damages to Johnny Depp, was seen shopping at a discount store in Hampton, New York. Photos obtained by TMZ also showed his sister Whitney Hurd accompanying him on a shopping trip at TJ’s Max. The actor wore a white shirt and denims and his sister had a car. It was not clear whether he bought anything. This came after Heard gave some public interviews to Savannah Guthrie, where she stood by her allegations against ex-husband Depp.

Heard’s attorney recently said she “absolutely” couldn’t pay the money she owed Depp. Social media users were divided after pictures of TJ Maxx surfaced.
