Regret: In a major crackdown against terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) on Friday attached immovable properties of three persons, including Abdul Majeed Lone, who were allegedly involved in terror activities.

According to police officials, the three accused were arrested on August 2 last year for allegedly hurling a grenade at the Gool police post.

The properties include Abdul Majeed’s one-storey house

According to news agency ANI, the immovable properties include Abdul Majeed Lone’s single-storey house, Mohammad Farooq’s house and Shahdeen Padyar’s chemist shop in Sesal. With the latest action, properties can no longer be transferred, leased and disposed of.

Officials said the properties were attached under the Explosive Substances Act, Unlawful Activities Prevention Act 1967 and the PDPP Act in the presence of a magistrate on the orders of DGP Dilbag Singh.
