Recently, Ryan Gosling revealed the scariest thing about his I’m Just Ken performance at the 96th Academy Awards.

Hollywood star Ryan Gosling has been on a roll. The Barbie actor’s recently released film The Fall Guy is being showered with good response. Directed by David Leitch, the action comedy also stars Emily Blunt in the lead role. Before The Fall Guy, Gosling also earned widespread applause for his performance as Ken in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, and not to forget his performance during the Oscars this year. While his memorable performance at the prestigious event still remains a favourite, the actor was scared about a particular incident and it has everything to do with Simu Liu.

Recently, Gosling revealed the scariest thing about his I’m Just Ken performance at the 96th Academy Awards in an interview with WSJ Magazine. Expressing his concern about Simu’s Achilles, the actor said, “Whether Simu is going to re-tear his Achilles heel ’cause he had already torn it. And then, just in his amazing show of camaraderie and Kenergy, he showed up to dance with a torn Achilles.”

When asked about the reason behind Simu’s torn Achilles heel, he said, “I don’t know. Doing something bad*ss, I’m sure. I caught him a few times almost doing a back flip, and I was like, ‘My dude, chill’.”

Ryan Gosling’s latest release The Fall Guy opened in theatres on May 3. It features him as a Hollywood stuntman who is on his way to solve a mystery behind a missing movie star. At the same time, he also tries to win back the affection of his ex-partner, played by Blunt. Before the film’s release, the makers also released a docuseries Action. Through the series, the audience can get a glimpse of the making of The Fall Guy.

Next up for the star is Hail Mary, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. As per IMDb, the film is expected to hit the theatres on March 20, 2026. In addition to this, Gosling also has Gray Man 2 in his kitty. It will be directed by MCU’s Joe and Anthony Russo. Meanwhile, the release date of the film is yet to be revealed.
