JioPhone Next is the next big launch in the Indian mobile market as it aims to introduce the smartphone to 300 million 2G feature phone users for the first time. After using a device powered by Android Go, one would be keen to buy a quality Android phone that will offer a full Android 11 or Android 12 operating system along with all the benefits of owning a smartphone. It’s like a teaser but the problem is that most of the people who stick to 2G feature phones don’t have the money to buy a real Android phone. While we can all agree that there aren’t much options for them, whether Android Go will be beneficial or not is a matter of some debate. Having said that, Reliance Jio really deserves all the praise for trying to provide a solution for 2G feature phone users at a time when all brands have given up on them. But whether it will work, only time will tell.
