Ranchi: According to a government notification, all primary schools in Jharkhand will remain closed till January 8 due to cold wave in the state. Till January, the minimum temperature in Ranchi will be between 7 to 10 degree Celsius.
However, the teachers will come to the schools to update the records of all the students online. Mid-day meals will also be provided to the students of government schools.
Similarly, the Haryana and Punjab governments have also declared winter vacations for the students. All private and government schools in Punjab will remain closed till January 8, 2023.
On the other hand, the Haryana government declared winter vacation for all government and private schools in the state from January 1 to 15, 2023. However, classes for class 10 and 10 have to be attended from 10 am to 2 pm.
