Jewelery and cash worth over Rs 1 crore seized in Paschim train Vadodara News – Times of India

Vadodara: Cash and jewelery worth Rs 1.12 crore seized from one arrested Pashchim Express from Godhra Railway Police. Inquiries are being made in connection with the recovery from the youth.
Railway police checked the two bags that the man was carrying on the train and found a suitcase containing valuables as well as around Rs 78 lakh in cash. In another suitcase, jewelery worth Rs 35 lakh was kept under his clothes.
The police has started questioning the youth in relation to the money and jewelery found with him. Sources said that the man was a resident of Panchkula in Haryana. He was not able to provide a valid explanation or document for the cash and valuables during his initial interrogation.
