Jersey Song Maiya Mainu Out: Shahid Kapoor-Mrunal Thakur’s beautiful chemistry seen in romantic song

Shahid Kapoor‘Jersey’ is one of the most awaited films to hit the theaters on 31st December! Adding to all the anticipation about the film, the makers unveiled another song from Jersey, Maiya Mainu. Composed by Sachet-Parampara, the track is a romantic number. It showcases the beautiful chemistry between Shahid and Mrunal Thakur. And fans can’t stop being obsessed with this new hit number.

Speaking about the song, Producer Aman Gill said, “Maiyaa Mainu is a song that captures the deep bond between our protagonist played by Shahid and Mrunal! Jersey’s first song ‘Mehram’ was out recently. In a year that has been a roller-coaster ride for most people, Mehram is the perfect anthem for the soul. In the sequence of the song, Shahid Kapoor expresses his desire to become a cricketer once again for the love of his son. The anthem is again sung by Sachet Tandon and composed by Sachet-Parampara. Shailendra Singh Sodhi popularly known as Shaily has written the lyrics.

Sharing the song on his Instagram account, Shahid Kapoor wrote, “#Mehram…The Loving Comforter. The heart of our film. Hope you feel the depth of its emotions. Here’s our first song from Jersey. 31 Releasing in theaters on date. December 2021.”

Presented by Allu Aravind, the film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Gowtham Tinnanuri, who also directed the original Telugu Jersey and produced by Aman Gill, Dil Raju and S Naga Vamsi.
