Jeremy Renner pays tribute to his ‘renowned’ medical ICU team

New Delhi: Jeremy Renner has paid tribute to his ICU team for caring for him following his snow plow accident.

The 52-year-old actor is in intensive care after being crushed by his own snow plow at his Lake Tahoe ranch, reports femalefirst.co.uk, and Jeremy took to Instagram to thank the medical team who looked after him.

The picture shows Jeremy in a hospital bed with several medical professionals standing around him and he wrote: “Thank you to the famous Medical ICU team for starting this journey.”


The accident happened when Jeremy tried to help extricate a family member’s car that was stuck in snow near their home in Tahoe.

According to a 911 call made after the incident, Jeremy was struck by a snow plow and “completely crushed” by the vehicle.

A doctor – who lived nearby – applied a bandage to his leg, which was bleeding heavily, until the actor was taken to hospital, where he was placed in the intensive care unit in a critical condition. Prior to that he underwent surgery for blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.

His family released a statement thanking fans, saying they were “overwhelmed and appreciate the outpouring of love and support.”

Washoe County Sheriff Darrin Balam said earlier this week: “The investigation is ongoing at this point … We believe this is a tragic accident.”
