JEE Advanced to be held on October 3 (Representational)
JEE Advanced 2021 dates will be announced by IIT entrance exam on October 3.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted and informed that the entrance exam for admission to IIT-JEE Advanced 2021 will be held on October 3. The candidates who have secured top 2.5 lakh ranks in JEE Main are eligible to appear for IITs. This year, students who missed JEE Advanced 2020 will also be eligible to appear for the exam.
JEE Advanced 2021 was scheduled to be held on June 3, however, it was postponed due to COVID-19, however, when the exam was postponed, the new dates were not announced. This also means that the JEE Main result will be declared much before October to give students the time between the two exams as well as the time to apply for advanced exams.
Apart from IITs, JEE Advanced scores are also used by Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISERs), Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), Rae Bareilly, Indian Institute of Technology (IIST). Petroleum and Energy, Visakhapatnam among others.
