Eijaz Khan took to Instagram to thank Jawan director Atlee for his words of encouragement and belief in the actor.
Television actor Eijaz Khan recently featured in a supporting role in Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film Jawan. The actor took to Instagram on Thursday, September 7, the same day as the film’s release, to thank director Atlee for giving him this opportunity. He posted a photo of himself with the director and penned a heartfelt note for him.
He captioned the photo, “Atlee Sir, thank you for making me a part of your universe. Your words of encouragement, your belief in me to do better, in fact, every moment spent on set has been memorable. A very grateful witness to your magic. My duas will always include you, Sir. #JAWAN IN CINEMAS TODAY. An experience you don’t want to miss.”
Eijaz’s fans took to the comments section to laud his acting prowess as proven in the film. One person wrote, “Brother I was shocked to see you in Jawan but it was fun.” Another person wrote, “You were very good, @eijazkhan! To be in the same frame and film with people like SRK and Vijay Sethupati by itself is quite an achievement. To hold your own around them is class act! Here’s to many more, bro.”
Another person added, “Brother, you acted amazingly and had a great role, may Allah give you more success, Amen. Many Congratulations to you.” “Congrats dude manifesting way more success for you.” Some fans also hailed Eijaz as the “fearless face of Jawan”.
Eijaz had also recently recalled his experience working with Shah Rukh Khan. In an interview with Subhojit Ghosh, Eijaz said, “The greatest thing about Shah Rukh is that the amount of love we give him, he gives more in return to each and every individual…When he comes on set, of course, everyone’s in a hurry to start. But when he finishes the shoot, he goes to his van and changes, comes back, and then meets each and every person individually, hugs them, and then leaves. And you feel so special. It’s like your day is made, your month is made, your life is made. ‘Shah Rukh Khan hugged me’. If he knows something about you, he will ask.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan and features powerful performances from big names like Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone among others.
