Jared Leto says he got ‘tear gasses’ in Italy

Actor and musician Jared Leto’s trip to Italy didn’t go as he expected.

Taking to his social media account, the ‘House of Gucci’ star shared that he got “tear gas” in Rome after being caught in a Covid-19 vaccine protest.

He shared his experience via Instagram story. Posting a photo of police talking to protesters, he wrote: “Stuck in a protest in Italy. What I gathered was about the vaccine mandate/Green Pass.”

The singer of 30 Seconds to Mars continued: “Teared off then called it a night.”

As aceshowbiz.com reports, he noted, “Here are some images and videos”, before handing out footage of the chaotic performance.

Leto previously revealed that he came to know about the COVID pandemic after returning home from 12 days of silent meditation in the desert.

Taking to Twitter and Instagram back in March 2020, he first wrote: “Wow. 12 days ago I started a silent meditation in the desert. We were completely isolated. There was no phone, no communication etc. We had no idea what was happening outside. Convenience.

“Walked into a very different world yesterday. One that has been changed forever. Mind blowing – to say the least. I’m getting messages from friends and family around the world and keep an eye on what’s going on.” is holding.”

He added before sharing a sweet message to his fans: “Hope you and yours are well. Sending positive energy to everyone. Stay inside. Stay safe.”
