A civilian was allegedly shot dead by terrorists here on Saturday, police said. A police officer said that at around 5.30 pm, terrorists opened fire on Majid Ahmed, a resident of Chattabal Srinagar in Karna Nagar, injuring him seriously.
Ahmed was taken to the nearby SMHS hospital where he died during treatment. The area has been cordoned off and a search has been launched to nab the attackers, the official said.
