Jag Jug Jio Box Office Day 9: Varun-Kiara, Anil-Neetu starrer wraps up its second Saturday
Jug Jugg Jeeyo Box Office Collection Day 9: Yesterday was the second Saturday of Raj Mehta’s film and surprisingly many shows were housefull in theatres. Starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor In the lead role, the film was released on June 24. Since its release, the film has been receiving praises not only from fans but also from critics. The star-studded family drama has already raked in over Rs 50 crore and is already in a race to enter the 100 crore club. On its second Friday, the film earned Rs 3.03 crore and took a total of Rs 56.69 crore. Well now, the latest reports say that Jug Jug Jio has registered excellent growth on Saturday and is all set for a blockbuster on Sunday. It apparently collected a net of 4.75 crores and took the film to 58 crores nett. This is almost 70 percent more than the second Friday’s collection.
BoxOfficeIndia said, “Jugjug Jio witnessed excellent growth on Saturday as it collected a net collection of around 4.75 crores, which is almost 70% more than the second Friday, which will take the film to 58 crores nett and set it up for a solid Sunday. Will establish what should show up again. Good growth.”
The report further added, “The growth on Saturday came all over except Gujarat, which did not show the kind of growth that should have come. But it could be a market thing as the blockbuster Gujarati film also failed to show a jump on Saturday. There was a certainty. In the north the film did very well in both Delhi NCR and East Punjab, while Bangalore and Kolkata also made strong jumps. The city of Mumbai is also catching up despite the bad weather, so generally Mumbai and North The large collection areas are doing well.”
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the collection yesterday and wrote, “#JugJuggJeeyo remains the first choice of moviegoers despite two. [new] Major movies are snatching away a part of their screens and shows… the biz must move on [second] Saturn and Sun, looking at the trend… [Week 2] Fri 3.03 Cr Total: 56.69 Cr. #IndiaBiz.”
For those on the brink of divorce, follows Kuku (Dhavan) and Naina (Kiara Advani), who pretend to be happily married until the wedding festivities of their younger sister Ginni (Prajakta Koli) are over. . Little does Kuku know that his father Bheem, played by Anil Kapoor, is cheating on his mother Geeta, essayed by Neetu Kapoor, and plans to divorce her.
