A police inspector was injured in firing by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar. According to the information, the incident has been reported from Batmaloo area of Srinagar late on Monday night.
Police Inspector Sheikh Firdous was returning from a mosque after offering prayers when the terrorists opened fire on him.
He was later taken to the hospital where his condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile, security forces cordoned off the area after the incident.
