2 motorists hit the road hump, divider; die | Bengaluru News – Times of India

Engineer Yatish Kumar died after falling on the road near Nagarbhavi and his friend Sujit, who was sitting behind, suffered minor injuries.

Bengaluru: Two people, including a civil engineer, died in two accidents in the city. One did not pay heed to the hum of the road and lost control of his vehicle and the other rammed into the divider.
Engineer Yatish Kumar, a resident of Hosahalli near Vijayanagar, died on Sunday night after falling on the road near Nagarbhavi and his friend Sujit, who was sitting behind, sustained minor injuries.
Police said Kumar, 23, was riding his bike and did not notice a hump on the service road around 10.15 pm. He lost control of the bike and was seriously injured. Kumar and Sujit were taken to the hospital, where doctors declared Kumar brought dead.
In the second incident, a 28-year-old driver of a mini-goods vehicle died after hitting a divider at Veerasandra Junction on Hosur Road near Electronics City. The deceased Marappa was a resident of Nagnathpura.
Police said he lost control of the vehicle around 2.15 pm on Monday. It hit the divider and fell on its side, injuring Marappa on his head. He was taken to the hospital but died on the way.
