It is difficult to recover from Siddharth Shukla’s death, says Vidyut Jammwal: ‘It never leaves your mind’

Vidyut Jammwal and Siddharth Shukla were good firefighters and it is no secret. After the demise of the Bigg Boss 13 winner in September last year, the entire nation was shocked and in tears. In a recent interview, the Khuda Hafiz actor spoke about all the things he emotionally went through after Sidharth’s death.

“There can be no process to come out of something so emotional. You just go through it. When you go through it, you realize the limits of it. You can’t imagine something like this. You can’t imagine it.” Can’t think ‘how will I react if someone close to me dies tomorrow’. The idea that comes at that time is not right,” Vidyut Jamwal told India.com.

The actor further revealed that it was Sidharth’s mother, better known as Rita Maa, who helped him deal emotionally after his son passed away. “It never leaves your mind. In fact, I found this picture on Twitter today from one of my old fashion shows and it just (takes you back). You can’t be okay with anything like that. I told his mom Learned a very beautiful thing from him that I swear I had never heard before. His mother changed my life,” he said.

Vidyut also shared that Rita Maa never cried after Sidharth’s death as she wants to tell her son that she is a strong mother. “I met him recently and he told me something. Aunty never cried after Siddharth’s death and even now you will never see her shedding tears. He said to me, ‘Vidyut, what’s the scene? So many people are crying for him. I will not sleep now. My son is up and he should know that everyone else is crying but his mother is strong. That’s what takes you back. You can’t be ready for this,” said the actor.

On the work front, Vidyut is gearing up for the release of Khuda Hafiz Chapter 2, which also stars Shivaleeka Oberoi. The film will hit the theaters on July 8.
