The teen who beat and videotaped a sexual assault victim pleaded guilty Sunday, the Southern District Attorney’s Office announced.
The 17-year-old girl got engaged to the 13-year-old boy on Instagram and later met him in her neighbourhood. The accused forced the girl to perform sexual acts with him and whenever she resisted, he beat her or strangled her. He attempted to rape her, but she resisted him. Parts of the attack were filmed by the suspect. He later asked her to meet him so he could apologize, but when they met he again forced her to have sex with him.
In a separate incident, the accused photographed a 16-year-old girl without her consent while performing a sexual act.
