“Whenever he comes to any training, he makes sure that he does his things very well and if there is any problem that he is worried about, he wants to get it fixed immediately and wants to rectify it. So that is the hallmark of his game and he is someone who always wants to push the limits and the barrier for himself. So, it bodes well that he is in that kind of mindset,” Bangar said on the RCB Game Day preview.
While RCB’s trio of Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell have been consistently among the runs, the middle-order has failed to come to the party as they have struggled to contribute consistently so far.
Addressing the relative non-performance of the middle order, Bangar commented on how the flow of the top order meant that the batsmen coming in later didn’t have much to do.
He said, ‘First of all it is a T20 match, we have to understand that if three of the top four batsmen get to play more balls then it leaves very little work. But yes, we would definitely like to see a little more contribution from them but that does not mean they are not contributing.

“One thing we have to keep in mind is that all-day games, the wickets have slowed down a lot, teams have softened the ball, even for batsmen coming down the order, it is very difficult to score runs,” he said.
