Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan has praised the Gujarat bowlers on Twitter.

Gujarat Titans stormed into their second consecutive IPL final with the help of Shubman Gill’s brilliant century in Saturday’s qualifier against Mumbai Indians. The Gujarat bowlers also played their part very well. The likes of Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami limited Mumbai Indians’ strong batting lineup with their disciplined bowling. Mohit dealt a blow to the five-time champions by removing their star batsman Suryakumar Yadav. The fans have been impressed by Gujarat’s powerful bowling lineup. Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan has praised the Gujarat bowlers on Twitter. He wrote, ‘ GT’s four bowlers have taken 93 wickets. No other team’s top 4 bowlers have taken so many wickets. It is a privilege to have quality bowlers in your team. This makes the captain’s job a lot easier. Back to back finals for GT.

Many fans have supported Irrfan’s opinion under the tweet.

A fan wrote, “Agree and expect the same from Mumbai Indians next IPL season when they have Jasprit Bumrah, Jofra Archer and Akash Madhwal together!!”

Another tweeted, “GT has the best bowling lineup and off to a great start to IPL. I hope Gill has a great final as GT lineup depends on him, otherwise they will struggle in the final against CSK.” Hardik and Nehra ji have done a good job by helping the team together.

Gujarat Titans bowlers have been outstanding throughout the tournament. Their form can be gauged from the fact that Mohammed Shami, Rashid Khan and Mohit Sharma currently occupy the first three spots in the IPL 2023 Purple Cap holders list. Shami, who has 28 wickets to his name, is the favorite to finish as the leading wicket-taker in this year’s IPL.

High-flying Gujarat Titans will take on Chennai Super Kings in a blockbuster final on Sunday. While Gujarat seem invincible, Chennai are four-time champions and have the experience of playing in the knockouts. In Qualifier 1, Gujarat was defeated by Chennai. This defeat will be on their mind when they host Chennai in the final.
