Virat Kohli broke the security and hugged a fan who came on the field and the fan also touched Kohli’s feet

However, beyond all the drama, there was another moment in the match that won the hearts of fans across the internet. A fan jumped the security and found his way to the pitch to meet Virat.

After reaching the ground to meet his idol, the fan touched Kohli’s feet and hugged him in return. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media, in which the fan is beaming with joy after hugging Virat.

Virat Kohli scored 31 runs in the win, helping RCB reach a total of 126/9 after Faf du Plessis won the toss and elected to bat against Lucknow.

Du Plessis himself scored 44 off 40 balls, while Dinesh Karthik added 16 runs. While the Bengaluru-based franchise failed to shine with the bat, they restricted Lucknow to 108 and won the match by 18 runs.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore bowlers put up a stellar performance and barring Mahipal Lomror, the entire unit got at least one wicket apiece.

They return to action next on May 6, with RCB traveling to Delhi to take on David-Warner’s Delhi Capitals.
